I'll show you how I fixed an out of focus / blurry portrait I messed up for a client after trying several AI sharpening software apps. For the best result I used BOTH Topaz https://bit.ly/sharpen-ai and https://bit.ly/gigapixel-ai to sharpen my out of focus photo. I have both the standalone plugins and the newer PhotoAI but I prefer the method here for how to deblur and sharpen portraits. This sharpening method works well for other photo genres too.
