He highlights how Islam has inspired the British isles positively and invites the listeners to explore the history of interactions between the two civilisation in more depth. The interactions between Islam and Britain have been very complex and sympathetic. Adnan Rashid argues, far from being recent immigrants, Islam and Muslims have been an integral part of the very making of the English/British identity.
