We have been putting this off for far too long - making every excuse in the books for why we shouldn't start a vlog. The truth is, it never felt like the right time. It always feels too busy to add another project, and when we do have the motivation to do so: it feels overwhelming thinking about the amount of context we would need to provide people with in order to start.

But the thing is: we've been waiting 1.5 years to do this, and the perfect time keeps passing us by... There is no better time than now, so we are jumping in with both feet and starting off 2023 by doing something we have been saying we were going to do for years: we are starting our vlog!

Welcome to Doing Grown Up Stuff, our channel, where we talk about all of the stuff we are doing to stay afloat as self employed artists living in the Dorset Countryside. We left our city lives behind for a simpler life in the country, and have been thoroughly enjoying it. We are looking forward to sharing more of our adventures with you :)

Yes, I'm aware that I have coffee stains all over my mouth... now. I noticed while I was editing, and there was no way I was going to go back and rerecord everything just to fix it. This is real. This is what real life looks like!
