A copy of the Russian repressive legislation – as the new Georgian law on foreign agents is called in the PACE. The organization has also adopted a resolution calling on the EU not to start access negotiations while this law is in force in Georgia. At the same time, Georgian ruling party members declared their own claims – the EU takes Georgia in and then the law is cancelled. Such rhetorics were not met happily by EU leaders and were called 'blackmail' multiple times.
