From simple growth strategies to counterintuitive tactics, the creators in this panel have found creative ways to reach out to readers. Some tactics worked — many didn’t. Hear from experienced creators about what works and what’s not worth the time in this panel focused on how they've reached milestone after milestone on the windy path to sustainability. This conversation was part of the Journalism Creator Summit on Friday, November 4, 2022 and hosted by the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY. This summit centered around six new case studies that spotlight creators who share mistakes they’ve made, lessons they’ve learned and specific tactics you can apply to your own venture.
