When we first meet McG he is coming home to bury his father and find his murderer. He didn't plan on coming home and staying....and finding a whole new family there who will have his back, respect him, and love him through thick and thin - and he them. This song is about McG's first year back home and his new family - his Ohana. I did this as a request for my dear sis Martha who requested this song and that I use clips from season 1.
