Here's an interesting lake in the midst of nowhere, Moon Lake situated in the Al Qudra desert is a yet another man made wonder that's aimed to please the outdoorsy people. It's a calm place surrounded with dunes vegetation and wild animals. The place as of now requires a vehicle with 4wd or an suv with ground clearance and enough grunt to take over the sand covered path.
Now I do not have a drone and therefore this video is a good reference to people without a drone on what to expect when you reach there.
