Craig Beals shows how to make a non-newtonian fluid called Oobleck. He then mixes up 100 pounds of Oobleck made from cornstarch and water to put in an augmented reality sandbox. Non-newtonian fluids don't adhere to the laws and equations for a Newtonian fluid - in other words, their viscosity (flow) changes due to other factors. Oobleck changes viscosity due to pressure (or lack of pressure) so it makes for one of the most fun science experiments you can try at home!
