To find your Apple Watch using your iPhone, open the Find My app and play an alert. Assuming your Apple Watch is in range and has power, it will play the alert tone.

If you’ve just spent the last few minutes hunting around your house or your car to find your watch, then stop what you’re doing, open up the Watch app on your phone and tap on My Watch, followed by All Watches. Now tap on the little information icon next to your watch and then tap Find my Apple Watch. This will open your Find My app and, as long as your watch is in range and powered on, you can play a sound to locate it. The alert sound will play even if you have your watch set to silent mode or you have a focus mode enabled, so if you don’t hear the alert tone at this stage, then there’s every chance you’ve lost your watch elsewhere.

If you lost your iPhone and you’re wearing your watch, you can do the same thing by pressing the side button of your watch, the button below the crown, to bring up the Control Centre. Tapping on this icon will play a similar alert on your phone.

Finally it’s worth mentioning that you can also use the Find My app to play an alert on your airpods, or in my case, my Beats. However, your headphones will need to be connected for this to work.
