Known as the Riverside Prostitute Killer and the Lake Elsinore Killer, outwardly mild-mannered warehouse clerk William Lester Suff (a.k.a. Bill Lee Suff) raped, tortured, stabbed, strangled, and sometimes mutilated at least twelve prostitutes over a span from 1974 to 1992 - often horrifically posing the bodies afterward. Domineering in private life, his actions would force a close relation to build between Det. Christine Keers and the victim pool before his long-overdue arrest.
