The 2023 Mandela Washington Fellows are lawyers, civil society activists, and advocates for civil and human rights - all among the brightest young leaders from the African continent.

Together, Fellows curated a program of personal stories, expressions of art and culture, and key insights on issues about which they are most passionate. At the conclusion of their Fellowship institute at the Presidential Precinct, they shared Ignite Talks, cultural performances, and led a compelling panel discussion on the future of the African continent.
