The kids had all moved out, and they were ready for a new adventure. Dan and Emily took their future into their own hands and built a 5x10ft micro home! Despite the tiny interior, it's perfectly equipped with everything they need.

The kitchen has an induction burner for cast iron skillets with a cozy kit that transfers heat to standard pots and pans. This southern woman is proud to boast of her baking abilities in her little toaster oven, from scones and banana muffins to homemade cornbread.

The elevated bed allows for storage underneath, including a rolling toilet that's easily stored away. The artist in Emily is shown through homemade pillows, creative hanging storage, and a beautiful branch wrapped in delicate lights above the bed. In the back of the home is a spacious exterior storage unit for any necessities that don't need to be inside. Dan, Emily, and their dog scout love their space with the only regret of not doing it sooner!
