In this video, I show you how the lathe handled the first few tentative cuts. but to start with I found out that either both 3 jaw chucks have problems or the spindle is bent. When the 4 jaw chuck was put on, the set up went well and the setting bar indicated that the spindle might be OK. The tailstock was also set up at the same time, but I didn't bother showing that because the video was about the first few cuts and to prove it does work.
