Tonight, for a special Friday Night with Byline Times broadcast, acclaimed British actor David Harewood (Homeland, Supergirl) joins Hardeep Matharu for an in depth and moving interview about his new book Maybe I Don't Belong Here.

Over the course of the programme David opens up about some of his earliest experiences of racism, including being heckled by supporters at a football match when he was just nine years old, as well as his struggles with mental health and the trauma that arose from his complicated identity as a black British boy growing up in 1970s England.

It's a moving and at times disturbing watch, with strong racial language in parts.
