Audio-gd's R-27HE is their flagship combined DAC and headphone amplifier. I put it through its paces and compared it to Schiit Audio's Yggdrasil and the Chord TT2/MScaler system, as well as trying it with headphones such as the Dan Clark Audio Expanse, Stealth, Final D8000 Pro, Meze Elite, HiFiMan Susvara, Audeze LCD-5 and others.

For the curious, my HQPlayer settings are: 20-bit, poly-sync-gauss-ip, LNS15, 384k.
