Our three-month tour of Newfoundland, from mid-May until mid-August, 2022, was an amazingly epic journey. This easternmost Canadian province, a half-hour ahead of Atlantic time, was the 10th and last to join the Canadian Confederation in 1949. Before that time, it was the Dominion of Newfoundland and a part of the British Empire.
Part 17 includes our visit to the picturesque village of Burgeo, followed by our close encounter with local caribou; en route to Stephenville, three caribou slowly strolled in front of our motor home for an extended length of time, providing a delightfully entertaining experience. After Stephenville, we explored the Port au Port peninsula.
