There's always a sting in the tail on a long climb. I used to tackle this climb years ago - in my 40s. It was my nemesis. I'd be doubled over at the top - gasping for breath. After a long, steady ascent up the beautiful Sunny Creek Road the climb finishes with a brutal, sustained pinch - 'The Kicker'. Slowly, ever so slowly, I'm getting stronger on the bike.
