The Porsche Taycan 4S is powered by an two electric engines and delivers 571 HP & 650 Nm of torque. An electric car has many advantages but also disadvantages. The acceleration of the electric motor is much faster and direct compared to a petrol/diesel engine. This is because when the electric car accelerates, it uses 100% of its torque as soon as the throttle is pressed down. The disadvantage is the charging of the electric cars. If you don't have a charging station that supports high kW, you have to charge for many hours. An electric motor of the Porsche Taycan 4s powers the front wheels and an electric motor power the rear wheels. For the Porsche Taycan 4S 571hp is perfect but in our opinion are 571hp too much for daily use. They are fun, but you can only seldom drive them out. The Porsche Taycan 4s has a 2-Speed Automatic gearbox.

Let's take a look at the Porsche Taycan 4S battery consumption. According to factory specifications, the manufacturers promise that the battery consumption is 25 kWh/100km. But the driving style plays a big role, because if you drive sporty you can never keep the prescribed manufacturer consumption. On the other hand, if you drive very economically, you can even get below the factory specification. Further information is that the battery capacity of the Porsche Taycan Performance Plus is 93.4 kWh. With a full charge the Porsche Taycan 4S reaches 465 kilometres. For a sports car this is very impressive because it is much more than the competitors. However, you have to consider that these numbers can only be achieved if you drive economically.

2220Kg is a little bit heavy for a Porsche Taycan. A heavy car makes a car consume more. The heavy weight is not noticeable in the acceleration, because it accelerates very amazing.

According to the factory, the Porsche Taycan 4s accelerates from 0-100 in 4,1 seconds, which is very impressive for 571hp, considering that the car is very heavy at 2220kg. From our own experience we can confirm that the acceleration feels much faster.
The top speed of the Porsche Taycan 4S is 250 km/h, which is very respectable for an electric car. During the drive we noticed that the car is limited. The car reaches top speed very quickly. Because of the heavy weight, the speed feels very solid. The wind noise during the higher speeds are comfortable.

The suspension of the Porsche Taycan is one of the best that has ever been built. The suspension can be changed in the different driving modes. In sport mode it is hard and stiffer, and you have more feeling for the road and bumps, the car starts to bounce a little. In comfort mode, the suspension changes to soft, so you don't feel as much of the road. The handling in curves of the (name) is perfect, because you can drive even at high speeds in sharp curves without understeering or oversteering. However, the cornering position is also dependent on the weight. The steering is very accurate and direct, so you do not have to steer much. Even when braking down hard from high speeds, the car behaves quietly. The eletric sound of the Porsche Taycan is just lovely.

The size of the Porsche Taycan 4S is 4,9m in length and includes a width of 1,9m, which overall represent a very large vehicle. This can be compared to a Audi e-Tron GT RS or a Mercedes-Benz S-Class or a tesla model s.

In our opinion the Porsche Taycan 4S is one of the best looking modern electric cars ev which was ever built.
