"CatSat" is a miniature satellite built and tested by students at the University of Arizona. CatSat was designed to deploy an inflatable antenna, akin to a giant balloon. After launch, the antenna's ability to transfer information much faster than other small satellites will be tested. In addition, the students will analyze data collected by CatSat to better understand the ionosphere, a layer of the atmosphere that affects certain radio signals.
