It's a Me! Mario! The Nintendo classic returns in this animated trailer for a new Super Mario Brothers 2 Movie!

Mario is just a simple Brooklyn plumber, who one day stumbles on a strange portal to another world. There he meets a mysterious mushroom called Toad. Bowser has kidnapped the Princess? Can Mario save the Mushroom Kingdom?

This is a fan trailer (sometimes called a concept trailer). It's based on the popular Nintendo series (currently on Nintendo Switch). That means it's not real. These trailers are created for fun and give fans a chance to image what might be. There is an actual Mario animated film in the works by Illumination (the some studio behind the Minion films). It's estimated to have a 2025 release date.

The cast for the actual trailer includes Chris Pratt as Mario, Anne Taylor Joy as Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser and Seth Rogan as Donkey Kong.

This trailer was something different for me. I used Source Film Maker for the first time (learning the program) so it was a great way to get some basic animation done. I had a LOT of footage that didn't make this trailer (simply because my animation skills are incredibly basic).

My channel focuses on a lot of 90's films, so of course I had to take the plot from the 90's original feature film (with Bob Hoskins) and redo it in animation form.
