The Mazda 2 might be getting on a bit (the current version has been on sale for eight years!), but don't write it off just yet. Compared with other superminis, the little Mazda is still great fun to drive, very economical and features an impressively high quality interior. True, you don't get quite as much interior space you would in a newer rival, but the Mazda still isn't what you'd call cramped.
