Explore the overdose crisis and ways communities can work together to help people most impacted in this expert conversation featuring Terrell Jones (Advocacy & Community Engagement Manger, OnPoint NYC; Co-Director, Peer Network of New York; Senior Leader, VOCAL-NY Users Union; Board Member, Faith In Harm Reduction), Kailin See (Senior Director of Programs, OnPoint NYC), Toni Smith (New York State Director, Drug Policy Alliance), and Michael Wells (Responsible Person In Charge, Overdose Prevention Center, OnPoint NYC), moderated by Colin Askey (Director, Love in the Time of Fentanyl).

Presented in partnership by THIRTEEN, OnPoint NYC and Indie Lens Pop-Up.

The documentary Love in the Time of Fentanyl shines timely light on a community fighting to prevent overdose deaths. As deaths in Vancouver, Canada reach an all-time high, the Overdose Prevention Society opens its doors—a renegade supervised drug consumption site that employs active and former drug users. Its staff and volunteers do whatever it takes to save lives and give hope to a marginalized community in this intimate documentary that looks beyond the stigma of people who use fentanyl and other drugs.

Love in the Time of Fentanyl premiered on PBS's INDEPENDENT LENS. It is available to stream at thirteen.org/programs/independent-lens and on the PBS Video App.
