The scene sadly isn't nearly as good as what you would hope it to be when you have read Sword of Destiny considering it's supposed to be one of the greatest moments in the whole series. Even Witcher 3 managed to make its own reunion as good as in the books, so it's a real shame. But I guess that's modern-day Hollywood/TV for you :(
