My Campervan Journey Through Traumatic Loss & Complex Grief

Hi, my name’s Sue. After 15 years of incredible life adventures, five of them including travels in a motorhome with my beloved husband Bri who passed away four years ago, I’m now travelling solo in my campervan.

I hope that this updated trailer continues to capture and convey why this channel was originally created and the progress made over the last 2 years in learning to push through and manage the disorientation caused by a traumatic loss and quite complex grief. I found my own way and continue to follow it, which is by re-embracing a love of campervan life, new places/experiences, vlogging, and just being out in nature.

When this channel began in 2021, I was asking:-

How do you even begin to rebuild life after a devastating loss? A loss that not only steals the person who had meant everything to you, but shakes the very foundations of the world around you as you thought you understood it, leaves you questioning reality and not knowing who you are anymore, rips away all sense of connection to everyone and everything around you. Leaves you feeling lifeless. It was a dark and terrifying time and, in all honesty, at one point I couldn't see a good way out of it.

A WORD HAS NATURALLY BECOME LINKED WITH THIS CHANNEL:-

"ONWARD!"

- AS WELL AS HEADING ONWARD IN THE VAN ON ADVENTURES, IT ALSO CAPTURES THE ATTITUDE OF PUSHING ON THROUGH CHALLENGES LIFE THROWS AT US (AND IT WILL) AND NEVER GIVING UP.

Life is becoming lighter again, more and more all the time and the healing powers of this little campervan along with a focus on content creation and the many interactions that have arisen through this YouTube channel have played a huge part in the process.

The videos aren’t centred around grief, they’re about road trips, van life, new places, campervans, hints, tips, equipment, solo travel experiences, etc. and just generally getting out there.

Please join me by clicking ‘SUBSCRIBE’ it’s completely free but vital for the videos to reach a wider audience. Please also drop me a comment in the videos to share your own thoughts/experiences/general comments whenever you want to.

The interactions are what have made this colossal life transition more bearable, and I send a massive hug out there to anyone else on a similar journey.

Thank you.
ONWARD!
Sue x
