Here we are at Laguna Seca Raceway! This is the first Mid-Engine C8 Corvette to lap this track. Also, this is my first ever time truly driving on this track. Massive thanks to the McLaren 600LT owner and GT3 RS owner for being so awesome to lap with! They are fantastic drivers, and I am really thankful to them for showing me their own driving lines. One of the best parts about track days is the amazing car enthusiasts you get to meet! As a result of the above mentioned, I was able to put down the fastest lap for a C8 Corvette at Laguna Seca Raceway. I cannot wait to improve my driving and get more acquainted with this unbelievable racetrack. For the conditions we were driving in during this event, I'm told the track was "green". That being, there hasn't been a track day for cars at Laguna Seca for around 3 months, this is the first. Since the track wasn't driven on thoroughly, it is more slick than usual because the lack of rubber left on the road course beforehand.
