The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon are arguably the most capable off-road vehicle from the factory floor. With aggressive tires, excellent ground clearance, front and rear lockers, and an electronic sway bar disconnect, it’s no wonder why the Rubicon is so good off-road. In this episode, we turn to our 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 and discuss the 3 areas we decided to upgrade first. With a nice suspension system and lift kit, oversized Nitto Tires, and a few functional accessories, the Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon can be set up to tackle some of the toughest trails out there. We identify the max tire size that the factory Rubicon axles can handle, show the lift height needed to effectively run them, and identify the most important accessories to have on hand for any trail ride. We maintained our factory wheels, bumpers, fenders, and axles to be budget friendly while still developing a vehicle that isn’t shy of taking hard lines off-road. We put our Wrangler Rubicon 392 to the test of the Rubicon trail shortly after building it and it handled it with ease!
