The new 2022 Sierra AT4X has a go anywhere attitude that doesn’t sacrifice style and comfort.

On the outside, the new Sierra 1500 AT4X has a unique grille design, badging and new LED lighting with animated lighting sequences that activate when approaching, starting or walking away from the truck. This new look gives the pickup a wider stance and bolder appearance with headlamps integrated with the grille for a more intentional look.

The cabin has a new athletic-inspired interior completely unique to the AT4X trim. It includes perforated heated and ventilated front leather seating surfaces in Jet Black with Kalahari accents. These 10-way power front seats feature the distinctive AT4X logo embroidered into the head restraints. The inside also has dark-finish technical aluminum detailing and premium front and rear floor liners with removable carpet inserts.

Underneath this refinement is the purpose-built hardware engineered specifically to deliver rugged capability. The standard powertrain is GMC’s 3.0L Duramax® Turbo-Diesel I-6. This no-compromise powertrain offers a best-in-class 277 diesel hp and powerful 460 lb.-ft. of torque.

Other standard features for Sierra 1500 AT4X is a 2-speed AutoTrac transfer case with selectable drive modes and automatic locking rear differentials to deliver power to where it’s needed most in low traction situations. There’s also standard 18-inch Goodyear® Wrangler DuraTrac® MT tires, a 4-inch lift for added clearance for going off road, six-function MultiPro Tailgate and skid plating to help protect underbody components in rough terrain.
