Norman Bates talks about these ‘private traps’ and how we’re all stuck in our own. and I agree that we’re all going through one thing or the other. ‘clamped’ in our own issues.. but the sooner you take active steps to get out of your predicament, the easier it will be on your heart.

that being said, I do not condone Bates’ actions. he’s a fictional figure, yes, but the man had serious issues.
