What the world thinks about the cross
A display of God's weakness, defeat and failure
Christ's sacrifice on the cross wasn't enough
Christ's sacrifice on the cross was limited to forgiveness of sins

To us who believed
The cross is the highest demonstration of God's love- John 3:16
Christ's sacrifice is enough-
Ephesians 2:8-9
Christ's sacrifice offers complete redemption- Isaiah 53:4-6, John 3:3,5,7

The real reason why people think the message of the cross is foolishness
Romans 3:23, Ephesians 2:8-9,
Romans 6:23, Romans 10:9
Sin- They don't recognize their sins
Pride- They think they can save themselves by their own efforts.
Unbelief- They think there are other messiah like wealth, wisdom of men, worldly solutions etc
