Mr. Marks is the founder and co-chair of Oaktree Capital Management, one of the largest distressed debt ‌investors worldwide, with $172 Billion in assets under management. He is the author of two books: The ‌Most Important Thing Illuminated: Uncommon Sense for the Thoughtful Investor published in 2013, and his ‌most recent book, Mastering the Market Cycle: Getting the Odds on Your Side. Marks is also known for ‌writing investor memos that are eagerly anticipated across the financial world.
