We got good at making people on planet Earth, but we're not as good at making the energy they need to thrive. In a few countries, we produce enough energy for almost everyone to get clean water, sanitation, food and the other things people need for life. We don’t make enough energy for the rest of the world to have our living standard and solving that is going to make the world radically better for everyone. If we’re honest, global energy demand is 10x what we produce today. Pablos is going to show us 3 ways we can solve this in our lifetime. Pablos is like a benevolent supervillain, creating new munitions for the arsenal that humans can use to fight a war against dystopia. Coming out of secret labs full of mad scientists building rockets and lasers and nuclear reactors – Pablos is taking on the problems that keep humans from thriving. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
