MY BRITISH FRIEND "KUMANDER DAOT" VISITED ME IN BASILAN FOR A DAY...

I noticed that Kumander Daot was in Zamboanga City while I was in Basilan. And so, I called him up and invited him to come experience a day in Isabela de Basilan! What a day it was!! We started off riding local boats to a Barangay surrounded by mangroves. There, we were greeted by a wonderful community, and unique local snacks!

After a cultural immersion...

We took motorbikes and headed to the Basilan famous "Malamawi White Beach". I think my British friend was the whitest man at the beach on this day! It was really beautiful just hanging out and sharing positive moments at this beach resort in Basilan.

This was an amazing BecomingFilipino day in Mindanao!

Tourism is coming together in Isabela City, Basilan... and I am so excited for the future!
