BUILD THOUGHTS
How much have I been able to get it to pump: 2000gallons per hour or 33gallons in a minute( 125lpm/7500lph). The drill is a better choice than the impact only because the impact moves a ton slower(as you can see in the video) when it slips into impact mode. Otherwise mine spins at around 3800rpm(half that speed at impact). Why don't I think you could just 3d print what I did? You need weight/mass otherwise the drill would want to spin the entire thing, not just the impeller.


Changes it needs: I need to put taller standoffs on the bottom as it was sucking to the bottom. Probably around 1/2in as you can see me tilt the pump to allow more flow in the video. Still not sure about leaving the flange wings on the top part and may still cut those off as they are really stirring the water. I am currently getting though a 5 gallon buck in around 9 seconds but think I could get down to 8 with some of these changes. That would put the GPH at 2250 and 37.5GPM. That is super impressive for this size of pump.
