Certain quiet sections of the roadway have become a favorite spot for young couples to park and share each others company without the watchful eyes of the general public.

Beyond its historical allure, the Parkway carries a somber legacy tied to a series of unsolved murders that transpired from October 1986 to September 1989. Along this compact and scenic route, at least 3 couples were murdered and one couple went missing.
