According to the Twelve Tribes they are an emerging spiritual nation made up of 12 self-governing tribes. Some would call them a cult though. During my Appalachian Trail thru hike in 2019 I ran into the cult who operates close to the 2,200 mile trail in both Harpers Ferry and Rutland Vermont. My interaction with them was odd but back then I didn’t know the darker history of the group. In this video I educate hikers on the problematic beliefs of the group. I also go over why I believe they are a cult who preys on thru hikers. The purpose of this video is to educate and provide commentary on the twelve tribes.
