A new launch in the G-Class took place in 2024, and it is not a new generation, but another Facelift Mercedes-Benz G-Class. As the German car manufacturer has accustomed us, the new Mercedes-Benz G-Class 2025 has kept intact the angular design specific to the model for almost four decades. In this video we will compare the new Mercedes-Benz G-Class 2025 vs Mercedes-Benz G-Class 2018. We put them face to face to see the exterior and interior design changes as well as the engines they are equipped with.

The restyling of the new G-Klasse brings subtle changes, a modernized grille, redesigned front and rear bumpers, and a discreet spoiler on the front edge of the roof. The biggest changes are in the interior, where we find a wide screen running the latest version of the MBUX infotainment system, a completely revised digital instrument panel, but also an innovation called the "Offroad Cockpit" view that capitalizes on the 360-degree camera system for to create an "invisible hood" effect, improving visibility and perception of terrain in off-road conditions.

Under the hood, all units of the 2025 G550 are equipped with a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine that produces 443 hp.

So, put face to face, the two Mercedes-Benz G-Class models are similar, but, inside and on board, we find technological innovations necessary for the G-Class 2024 to keep up with the most important and high-performing luxury SUVs in world.
