Turbocharging the Test Track
The K5 GT proved itself as a true driver’s car, establishing faster acceleration and better overall handling performance than the BMW 330i in independent tests certified by AMCI Testing.

0-60 Acceleration
K5 GT accelerated to 60 mph 0.28 seconds faster than the BMW 330i, no surprise given K5 GT’s best-in-class 311 lb.-ft. torque and quick-shifting 8-Speed Dual-Clutch Transmission.

Cornering Performance
The BMW 330i couldn’t match the K5 GT’s cornering performance under both wet and dry conditions, with the K5’s all-new chassis and Pirelli P-Zero tires helping to provide better overall handling performance.

Wet & Dry Slalom Handling
In both wet and dry conditions, the K5 GT’s sport-tuned suspension provided the confident handling required to take the slalom course at higher speeds.

Quarter-Mile Sprint
The K5 GT reached a higher top speed of 103.3 mph and set a faster time of 14.2 seconds in the quarter mile, displaying the exhilaration of 290 turbocharged horsepower.

Sure-Footed All-Weather Performance
Available AWD provides optimum driving performance by actively distributing torque between front and rear to give you added traction and control. K5 will help you handle any changes in road surface for both all-weather and spirited driving occasions.

The standard 180 hp turbo delivers 195 lb.-ft. torque starting at 1,500 rpm. Lots of power at low engine speeds and exceptional confidence-inspiring performance when you need it.

The K5 GT offers a 2.5L turbo with 290 hp and a best-in-class 311 lb.-ft. torque, delivered through a Quick-Shift 8-Speed Dual Clutch Transmission that utilizes a wet clutch for exceptional performance with similar technology employed by Audi and Porsche.
