Forget the Top Gear and Grand Tour epic specials across Europe in super-cars! This is how the British Army were doing it in the 1960's at the height of the cold war! Starting in Detmold Germany, 2 Teams travel 5000 miles around Europe to test new oil seals fitted to two different Daimler Ferret Armoured Scout Cars. The teams are from the Northumberland Fusiliers and the Prince of Wales Dragoon Guards. They have 28 days to cover France, Italy and Germany stopping at checkpoints in Paris, Saumer, Le Luc, Venice, Berchtesgaden and Berlin.
