The modern NASCAR fan's favorite what-if always seems to be "what if Carl Edwards didn't retire?". Since the day Edwards abruptly announced his exit from NASCAR, we've all wondered about what the sport would look like today if he hadn't stepped away. I want to tackle this question, but with a twist, what if Edwards stayed for just one more season and left after a farewell tour?
