Bebe Demure is an artist who had planned to be a professional ballet dancer until injuries and the weight gain that accompanied them became a roadblock. Nevertheless, she persisted, and found a new art form that allows her to continue to perform: burlesque. Her story was recorded at the Historic Grandin Theatre as part of the Hoot and Holler storytelling event.
