US Army Launches NEW Attack Helicopter Program! The First Prototypes Have ALREADY Been Tested!
The US Army suddenly decided to stop developing attack and reconnaissance helicopters as part of the FARA program. This project was intended to create a universal reconnaissance helicopter, and the first prototypes were to fly this year.
The new aircraft was supposed to replace the outdated Bell OH-58D Kiowa Warrior, and about two billion dollars were spent on the replacement program. However, all this turned out to be in vain. Military officials, taking into account the experience of the Russian-Ukrainian war, preferred unmanned reconnaissance vehicles that are better at proving themselves in modern warfare.
But this does not negate the fact that the United States has built truly legendary helicopters in terms of their characteristics and capabilities. We are going to tell you about the best of them.
