According to Merriam-Webster’s dictionary, a pickup truck is defined as a vehicle with “an enclosed cab and an open body with low sides and a tailgate.” So while traditional truck enthusiasts – not to mention the very brand that builds it – refuse to call the 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz one, this vehicle can definitely be classified as a pickup truck.
