It was about time to actually do some breeding in the fish room, and what better place to start than a species that has been bred in huge numbers all over the world, the humble zebra danio (Danio rerio).


These fish call my small biotope inspired aquarium home, and can regularly be seen spawning in the aquarium in the mornings, but obviously the eggs don’t survive the predation from the other fish. Watch to find out how I manage to avoid this!
