It becomes even harder to digest when the first-ever EV from Subaru is a crossover. The 2023 Subaru Solterra marks the ambitious switch into the EV world, and Toyota is an integral part here. In this video, we will be talking about the coolest features on the 2023 Subaru Solterra! So clearly, you don't want to miss out on this, and so, without further ado, let's start with today's video.

Subaru is an automobile production division of the Japanese conglomerate Subaru Corporation. The Japanese car-maker was the twenty-first largest automaker by production in 2017, with their automobiles renowned for using a 'boxer engine' layout. Subaru's most notable engineering ingenuity.
Toyota and Subaru's partnership has been a long-standing one and has fared well in the sports coupe segment with the Toyota 86 and Subaru BRZ.
Subaru's notorious partnership with Toyota has been tremendously fruitful so far. And such a strong merger now looks to capitalize on the ever-rising popularity of electromobility, with Subaru's upcoming all-electric crossover SUV, taking its inspiration from Toyota's new bZ4X all-electric crossover SUV.

While the powertrain details are not out yet for the 2023 Solterra.
The Subaru Solterra will feature the brand's iconic Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive system.
The Solterra is also rumoured to feature the same battery pack as the Toyota bZ4X and is compatible with a DC fast-charging system. The overall package of the advanced Solterra will sport an element of customizing, with the option for the front-wheel-drive version of the all-electric crossover SUV expected to house a 150-kilowatt motor with a better driving range of up to 329 miles.
While the mechanics are shared, both these brands have different confidence levels when it comes to mileage estimation. Toyota states the bZ4X to have 310 miles on the Japanese WLTC cycle, but Subaru promised an even better 329 miles and 286 miles. Charging will also be on par with the Toyota, and 0-80% would come up in 30 minutes. The all-new Solterra will also feature a host of driving modes and a regenerative braking feature that will only add to the design of the highly-advanced Solterra.
The Subaru-Toyota partnership quality, and one can expect the innovative Solterra to polish further the aura of brilliance that surrounds this incredible merger. Although the Subaru all-electric crossover SUV is strongly related to the Toyota bZ4X, its intelligent performance dynamics and significant feature-list designed to cater to 'the distances of daily use' puts it in a league of its own. Overall, this new all-electric crossover SUV is set to set a benchmark in performance and quality upon its launch sometime in 2023.

The front fascia of the Solterra also features a smart hexagonal grille.
The rear of the stylish Solterra then continues to deviate from the Toyota bZ4X's exterior design, with its C-Shaped tail lights giving the all-electric crossover SUV an element of originality. However, the Solterra effortlessly distinguishes itself from Toyota's bZ4X.
The interior of the Subaru Solterra is well-laid out.
The Subaru's tech-savvy cabin is home to a centralized 12.3 inch Infotainment screen that features a wireless smartphone connection. The provision of a wireless charging pad and several smaller storage areas is strewn about the cabin to accentuate comfort and user-friendliness for its occupants.
Subaru promises up to 30.0 cubic feet of cargo space behind the Solterra's second row of seats. Spaciousness was emphasized in the design of the Solterra's cabin.
Inside the Solterra, you'll find good material quality and build execution.

There is no word yet on official pricing for the 2023 Solterra, but Subaru says its electric SUV will go on sale sometime in 2022. When it goes on sale in 2022, the Solterra will compete.
