GRCC and Michigan Humanists welcome Dr. Greg Forbes, professor of biology, as he presents a discussion on the rise in acceptance of unscientifically validated beliefs even though there there is no scientific support of such claims e.g., Ivermectin for COVID, microchips in vaccines, a flat Earth. Why are such beliefs so pervasive in our society when actual scientific knowledge is more accessible than ever? We will explore the societal factors that brought us here and what the future may hold.
