TWO BROTHERS
OFFICIAL SELECTION of The Short Film Festival of Los Angeles (2008 AWARDS)

Two Brothers is a short movie based on my life with a Psychotic Schizophrenic older brother. Schizophrenia not only destroys the life of the person affected by it but also traumatically impacts the loved ones who simply can't abandon them. My parents, like many others, couldn't bring themselves to "throw away" their mentally ill firstborn son. Today, I can admire their unconditional love, but back then -- back when I lived in fear -- I knew it would eventually come at a horrible price. This film was my thesis project at the Los Angeles Film School in 2007.
