This week, we heard of several cases of EV owners whose cars had told their insurance companies about their driving habits, all using on-board telematics.
While in all the cases we heard of, the owners had opted-in to a service that provided their insurance companies with their driving data, it has again introduced the specter of connected cars using their smarts to report you to third parties (or even the authorities).
So today we've a simple question: do you worry about your smart car (EV or otherwise) telling tales on you? Are you worried about your telematics getting hacked? Or worse?
Sunday Musings are informal vlog-style videos from some of the team behind Transport Evolved. They are non-scripted.
