So my friend Dot made an incredible Nancy Wheeler video with this song earlier this weekend (which you should go watch, by the way!! It's linked above!! This is such a Nancy song it's insane!!), and the moment I watched it my inspiration SKYROCKETED. After rewatching it a few more times, as well as listening to this song on loop for a while, it dawned on me that this is ALSO such a Katniss song—and then I checked and somehow nobody's done this yet!! At least not that I could find on YouTube.

And then (along with a separate Nancy video that I'm working on) I opened up a new video file and emerged three days later with this.

I'm just in such a Hunger Games mood lately. I've been rereading the books for Reasons™ as well as just for fun and it really is ALL that's been on my mind for the past few weeks (aside from Stranger Things). It's just so fucking GOOD. I love Katniss so much. Hopefully this video does her grief justice the way that I wanted it to, as well as how hard Snow/the Capitol try to silence her throughout the series.
