Today, we are going to check and test out one of Amazon's choice and alos highly rated 4K dash camera. The Rove R2 - 4K Dash Cam. We will do the unboxing, check out its features, settings and set it up and see if this dash cam is a good buy especially if you are dabbling into higher resolution dash cameras.

We will check out the video quality and see if the 4K resolution is good enough to read license plates and also can see and record clear footage at night.

I bought this dash cam because we were planning to go on a road trip and I realize that we cannot install a dash cam in our rental car because the dash cams that we have been using are permanently installed in our personal vehicles. I will be using the suction mount install on this Rove dash cam and I can easily store and bring this with use every time we are on a road trip or vacation that we needed a rental vehicle.

We will also do a quick comparison between the Viofo A129 Pro 4K which I currently have been using and see which has a better video quality and resolution especially when reading license plates and also during night driving.
