The EU is the world's biggest development donor. It contributes €80bn a year. Its mission is to help fight the pandemic, poverty, climate change, loss of biodiversity, migration and inequality. To maximise its development impact, the Council calls for an open, collaborative and inclusive architecture, with EIB, EBRD, and all other European development banks and financial institutions, uniting efforts and financing, working together, as Team Europe, so we can create a more prosperous future for all.
